No red chili exports in 2021 for Pakistan

Pakistan being the largest producer of red chili in South Asia generates decent revenue through its red chili exports but this year, due to extreme flooding and bad weather conditions, 50% red chili crop yield was damaged. This decline in yield combined with inflation has caused the prices to soar up by more than 200% in the local market. As a result, there has been no export of red chili in 2021 from Pakistan causing a major hit to the revenue earned through red chili exports.
