Apple prices across North America are strengthening on lower supply and increased domestic demand in Canada and the United States. A variety of weather issues in the late summer and early fall saw volumes fall in key growing regions and fresh apple supply fell over 13% on December 1st, 2020 when compared to 2019. In addition, COVID kept demand strong as consumers continued to purchase apples for their health properties.
