Morocco’s olive oil export barely increases due to price competition

The export of olive oil from Morocco isn't increasing due to fierce price competition from other exporters. The cost of production in Tunisia is low and daily workers in Egypt get paid two dollars per day whereas it may reach 10 dollars in Morocco. Spanish exporters benefit from government subsidies and Italy’s olive oil is reputed for its top quality.
