Oman's Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries suggests Sustainable Development 2040 Strategy

Agricultural modernization and rural farm development are key pillars of Oman's Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries' Sustainable Development 2040 Strategy. In line with this vision, the government set up the Oman Food Investment Holding Company (OFIC) to develop, invest in, and implement programs to boost farm production and food processing. This includes increasing exports of dates, honey, fruits and vegetables, dairy, eggs, and red meat.
