Orange harvest decreases 30.5% in Brazil, biggest drop since 1988

The orange harvest of the citrus belt in São Paulo and Minas Gerais ended the cycle with a drop above 30% in the annual comparison. 268.63 million boxes of 40.8 kg were harvested, the biggest break ever recorded in the historical series, which started in 1988. According to the general manager of Fundecitrus, the pandemic and the adverse climate's impact was the main responsible for the result.
