The Central Mozambican province in Manica is set to export 400 tons of organic lychee to European markets in the 2022/23 season, an increase of 40 tons YoY. The increase is due to a combination of agricultural efforts to boost production and launching of lychee marketing campaigns. Lychee production in Mozambique is concentrated in the districts of Manica, Sussundenga and Barue.
