Malaysia importing mangoes from Pakistan to meet domestic need

Although Malaysia produces Harumanis mango which is indeed high quality and tasty; however, Harumanis is seasonal and production is also very limited. Therefore Malaysia still imports mangoes from other countries to cater to the local demand. Mango from Pakistan is of high quality and also cheaper compared to Filippino mangoes. Therefore, importers are preferring Pakistani mangoes instead of Filipino mangoes.
