The price of palm oil products for export continues shows an upward trend and is expected to continue to rise from Week 46. This price increase also pushed up the fortnightly price of the palm fruit bunches at the farmgate level for the second period of November, at ranges of 2-7% in Sumatra (except in Central Sumatra) and Kalimantan. This trend is expected to continue due to stagnant CPO volume production and government pressure on the producers to prioritize domestic needs. Consequently, the export allocations are expected to decline.
