Pangasius Exports From Vietnam to the Chinese Market Increased 111% YoY in Q3 2022

At the end of Q3 2022, Vietnam's exports of pangasius to China totaled USD 590M, an increase of 111% YoY and accounting for 30% of Vietnamese pangasius exports. The market demand for imported pangasius is still high and has almost returned to pre-pandemic levels, despite Chinese importers being more cautious about imports due to the decreasing value of the Yuan against the US dollar, reaching a 30-Year low.
