Pistachio Yield Expected to Drop this Season in the US

The pistachio harvest in California started in W33 and in W31 in Arizona. Forecasts indicate that most of the US pistachio harvest for this season will be processed until W38. The yields on the early pistachio varieties are lower than last year, with smaller sizes but good quality. The latest estimates indicate that the harvest will only reach 900M lbs instead of the previous estimate of 1B lbs.
