One of the main fruit-producing countries has its apple harvest to resume. it seems that the volumes harvested should be below the estimated in August, when WAPA indicated a production of 3.40 million tons for the 2020 crop, which would represent a 17% harvest increase YoY. However, analysts believe that the anticipated end of the harvest and the lack of news about a real production yield data can lead to bad news, and that the country is unlikely to reach anticipated volumes.

Even with the end of the harvest, many companies in the country continue to process fruits. Still, the market assessment is that the juice supply is also shorter because the Polish retail consumption for fresh fruit is reportedly heated, and farmers seem to have been addressing larger amounts for the B2C chains. The industry may need to resource for imports on its neighbors France, Italy, and Turkey.
