Russian Pollock Supply to Domestic Market Surged 36% YoY in Q1-24

Preliminary data indicates that Russian fishermen increased pollock supply to the domestic market by 36% year-on-year (YoY) to over 100 thousand metric tons (mt) in Q1-24. Over the past five years, pollock supplies to the domestic market have risen by 52% YoY, reaching nearly 200 thousand mt in 2023.
