Pomelo fruit expensive due to the chemical input used in the Philippines

The cost of fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and weedkillers for the pomelo plant is expensive in the country which makes the market price to export pomelo from the Philippines expensive and not competitive compared to neighboring countries such as Malaysia. This make suppliers refuse to export if the cost of crops cannot be reduced.
