The yield of raspberry and blackberry is poor in China

The yield of raspberry and blackberry was very poor in 2021. The supply was short, and their price w much higher than the normal price level. The fresh fruits were supplied to the local Chinese market, with a large consumption capacity.

Due to the fresh berries' natural properties of tender endurance and short valid lifecycle, the storage condition must be under -18'C deeply frozen temperature environment and whole transportation cold chain needs to be guaranteed. Even the price of sub-quality grade products' was so high.

Some buyers who have high demand, such as berries jam producers, had to afford such an expensive price level because they had to maintain their products sold in the market by making their brand berries jam jars displayed on the supermarket shelves. If not, their brand market share would be occupied by the other competitors' brand products.

After several rounds of purchasing and sales transactions, only a few inventory quantities of Frozen Raspberry and Blackberry were left in the suppliers' refrigerator, which could be sold out any time. The new crop can be seen for the months of July-August.
