Poor weather condition adversely affected coconut production and price

This year, most of the coconut gardens in Vietnam have been severely affected by the saline intrusion that lasted around 6 months. As a result, a significant amount of fruit was damaged. Therefore, coconut prices currently are only around 0.26 USD/dozen, which decreased by around 2 USD/dozen compared to last year.
