Portuguese Seafood Companies Expect Higher Revenue in the 2022/23 Fiscal Year

Overall, 2022 is a good year for the Portuguese seafood industry, and most companies expect higher revenue due to higher prices per kg for most seafood products. However, this revenue increase could be due to inflation and not a real net revenue increase. This is because most seafood processors sold less product until November compared to the same period in 2021.
