Portuguese Wine Producers Are Starting Independent Unions

As producers tend to feel exhausted from the workplace, they tend to form their own unions that would speak for their interests and respond to their needs. The union would represent a region, a group of producers or even both. Although the union is still faced with the lack of vision or strategy to tackle the different problems, it allows producers an opportunity to improve the work environment that the enterprises could not deliver to them. Meanwhile, the wine associations are not happy with these independent unions.
