Thai fruit exports to Vietnam in W23, encompassing mangosteen, mini durian, snake fruit, and rambutan, are experiencing a significant price decline of 30-40% compared to the previous year. Mangosteen and langsat are now priced at USD 2.16 to 2.36 per kilogram (VND 55,000 to 60,000/kg), while rambutan ranges from USD 1.77 to 2.36/kg (VND 45,000 to 60,000/kg). Premium fruits like snake fruit and mini durian have also seen a 40% decrease, selling for USD 2.36 to 2.75/kg (VND 60,000 to 70,000) and USD 2.36 to 5.12/kg (VND 60,000 to 130,000/kg), respectively. This price reduction is attributed to a doubled supply resulting from bountiful harvests and improved quality of Thai fruits.
