Price fall in origin for strawberry and raspberry while increased availability

WK 6 registered an increased availability for strawberry and raspberry, and consequent decrease in price in the market, as reported from Perpignan. However, the average price for the harvest, so far, is slightly higher than that of the previous year. Regarding raspberries, which have reached the half of its harvesting period, the market price is showing an evolution of 12.5% inferior to the previous year. Nevertheless, more raspberries have already been traded due to the early start of the season thanks to the widely planted early varieties.
