Michoacán, Jalisco, and Zacatecas have been facing constant rain for the past 15 days, affecting harvesting and expected volumes of Jalapeño in the area. Although demand has been lower than expected, the lack of Jalapeño keeps the price trend stable. The FOB price for Jalapeño in W39 in the McAllen market stood at USD 18-20 for the #1 30 lbs presentation. Prices are forecasted to go down as soon as W40 harvesting starts coming to the market.
