Price Trend for Norwegian Salmon

Prices at this level are making stops in some markets in the EU. Poland, Denmark, and France, which are the top 3 buyers of fresh whole Norwegian Atlantic salmon, are lowering demand. As Chile also has a supply shortage, no huge drops are expected before later this year. Chile and Norway are expecting more volume availability after Easter day. The attached photo(1) shows the average weekly prices of Norwegian salmon from 2016 until WK 5 2022 and the attached photo(2) shows difference of volume and price on a weekly basis.
