The new flowering production of Persian limes from Veracruz, Mexico, started in W39. The market price decreased for small lime sizes in W39, at USD 21-22 for 200`s, USD 20 for 230s, and USD 19 for 250s, due to more volumes available for these calibers from the new harvest. For big lime sizes, the prices remained high at USD 32 for 110s, USD 31-30 for 150s, and USD 29 for 175s due to the low volume available for these calibers, with limes still from the last flowering. The new harvest has a lower price compared to the older as it presents more quality problems with mold and oil spots.
