Prices of Chad Sesame Hover Around USD 1.400/MT at the Mersin Port in W47

The Chad sesame season began in October 2022 in Turkey, and suppliers delivered their offers to customers to increase sales. Sesame purchasers in Turkey are being given unhulled sesame seeds with a Chad origin for about USD 1.4K/MT CIF Mersin in W47. Given that the harvest yield is much higher than the yield for 2021, it is anticipated that prices will decline even more, to about USD 1.3K/MT CIF Mersin.
