Prices of Pineapples Increase by 24.6% in Ghana

The rising cost of farm inputs in the international and domestic markets has compelled pineapple farmers across Ghana to increase the prices of their farm produce by almost 20%. The average farm gate cost of pineapple now stands at around USD 0.81/kg, representing a 24.6% increase from the average USD 0.65/kg of the past few months.
