Prices of watermelon decreases as the offer increases

The Moroccan market is seeing an increase in the quantities of watermelon offered by the farmers three weeks after the season. The prices went from USD 0.70 per Kg to reach USD 0.45 per kg. Approximately 90% of the delta variety is exported to Europe and UK. The increase in prices is also due to the start of the harvest in Spain.
