Due to the agricultural frost in March 2022 in Turkey, there was a serious citrus yield loss in orchards. Although the yield is low, the producers have difficulty finding workers to collect the fruit on the branch. For the ongoing citrus harvest, agricultural workers are needed to produce quality and market-valued products and then market them without spoiling them. If no natural disasters occur in 2023 and the expected yield in vegetables and fruits is realized, there will be difficulties in finding seasonal agricultural workers. As a result, the fruits will remain on the trees, as in previous years, and exports might be disrupted.
