Rabi Crops in India Will Benefit From the Extended Monsoon Rains

Farmers from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh in India are sowing wheat and mustard crops during the current Rabi season to take advantage of the refilled groundwater tables from extended monsoon rains. According to farmers, the Rabi season in 2022 seems favourable in terms of production and can have a good yield if these favourable weather conditions persist until harvest.
