Record of Brazilian coffee exports in September

In September, Brazil exported 3.8 million 60 kg bags of green, soluble and roasted & ground coffee. According to the monthly report of the Council of Coffee Exporters of Brazil (Cecafé), the volume represents an increase of 8.6% compared to September last year. Arabica coffee was the most exported, accounting for 74.8% of the total, with 2.8 million bags. The main destinations for Brazilian coffee exports were the United States, which purchased 5.6 million bags followed by Germany with 5.1 million. Belgium imported 2.4 million bags, Italy with 2.3 million and Japan with 1.5 million bags.
