Reduced Import Volume of Banana in October 2022 in China Due to COVID Impact and the RMB Depreciation Against USD

According to China customs data, In October 2022, China imported banana volume is 105K MT, reduced by 13.91% YoY and 15.04% MoM. The impact of COVID is the primary cause of the decline in import volume. However, due to the RMB's depreciation against the USD, the average price of imported bananas increased by 2.57%.
