Russian customers always favor green skin Avocado like Fuerte, usually from South African origin, until September, or from Spanish origin earlier in the season, until spring.
Currently, for Spanish producers and exporters, smooth skin is too cheap to import or re-export, especially with the increase in transportation costs by 37% for maritime freight in 2022, so it is not wise to contemplate selling this category.
