Rising Costs for Importing Egg White Powder in Japan

Egg white powder imports in Japan have become more expensive, as the price almost doubled since October 2021 due to the depreciating yen against the US dollar and the Euro. Manufacturers are trying to source from India, Indonesia, and Vietnam as it will be more affordable. Unfortunately, India and Indonesia can supply enough products for Japan, but Vietnam is expected to have a stable supply for the rest of 2022.
