Rotterdam Wholesale Market Adjusted Prices for Hass Avocados from Colombia, Kenya and Peru in Response to Market Demand During W16

In response to market demand, prices for Hass avocados from Colombia, Peru, and Kenya in the wholesale market of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, underwent adjustments from W15 to W16. Colombia's avocados (12-24 caliber, 4kg box) prices were maintained at USD 12.96/box, while the larger sizes (26/28/30/32 caliber) decreased from USD 18.32/box to USD 15.12/box. Moreover, Peru's Hass avocados (14-18 caliber, 4kg box) price maintained at USD 13.50/box with reductions observed in the (20/24 caliber, 4kg box) to USD 11.88/box and (26-32 caliber) at USD 11.34/box. Kenya's avocados, specifically in the 16-24 caliber, dropped from USD 15.5/box to USD 13.50/box. These adjustments were due to higher volumes from Peru, Colombia, and Kenya, leading to pressure on prices for small and medium sizes.
