Russia has enough grain stocks to feed the country

Stocks of grain and oilseeds in Russia are higher than last year and exceeds the internal needs of the country. The total stocks of grain and leguminous crops in agricultural enterprises of the Russian Federation exceeds last year volumes for 3% and amounts to 19.37M/mt. Wheat balances amounts to 11.0M/mt, 2.7M/mt for corn. Stocks of oilseeds exceeds last year by 82% and amounts to 3.3M/mt. Sunflower remains at 1.7M/mt, which is more than twice as much as in 2021.
