Saffron of La Mancha, Spain closes its 2021 campaign

The Designation of Origin Saffron from La Mancha has closed the 2021 campaign with a harvest of 346.86 kilos. The total figure is 23.17% less than last year when 451.44 kilos were collected and is 42.19% lower than the figure that the farmers association estimations made before harvest season.

Meanwhile, the quality has been exceptional again, surpassing the parameters required by the DOP.
