In Shanghai wholesale market, Peruvian mangoes' sales price dropped to USD 44.60/6kg (RMB 300/6kg) of new arrival products with minimal quality issues. The selling price of Peruvian Mangoes was about USD 56.49-66.90/6kg (RMB 380-450/6kg) at the start of the season in 2023, but in W2 it has significantly decreased, and sales are still moving slowly. Most consumers consider the Peruvian mangoes' price to be very high and have a shorter shelf life than Australian mangoes. Even though Australian mangoes cost around USD 40.14/4.5kg (RMB 270/4.5kg), people still favor them.
