Norwegian Salmon Prices Dip for Fourth Consecutive Week While Exports Show Uptick in W31

During W31, the price of Norwegian fresh salmon HON (3-6 KG FCA Oslo) declined by 1.62% week-on-week (WoW) to USD 7.82/kg, marking the fourth consecutive week of a price drop. The exported volume saw a slight uptick of 865 metric tons (mt), representing an increase of 4% WoW and 10% YoY. Additionally, salmon futures contracts were traded at USD 7.06/kg for October and November and USD 8.82/kg for 2024.
