Sanctions against Russia is impacting Moroccan export of mandarins

Sanctions against Russia by the West is having impact on export of Moroccan mandarins. Sanctions such as cutting Russia off from swift and devaluation of the rouble is imposed against Russia because of the invasion of Ukraine. These measures however are preventing the collection of payments of previous shipment of Moroccan mandarins to Russia and are also putting many contracts on hold. To deal with this, exporters will have to compensate by shipping more to Europe and Middle East which may push the prices to go downward.
