Santorini winegrowers expect more grape, lower wine prices

Amid decreased consumption caused by tourism disruptions this year, the island of Santorini, Greece expects to register excessive supply of wine grapes.
Last year the island had a record low harvest yield of 1000 tons due to unfavorable weather conditions.
This year, winegrowers expect to have a good harvest of around 2,200 tons however they also estimate that wine prices will plummet and go down to €3-€3,5 per liter.
