Vietnam's Squid and Octopus Exports Declined by 15% YoY in Revenue in Oct-23

As of Oct-23, Vietnam's squid and octopus exports have experienced a continued decline, with total export revenue amounting to USD 537 million, a 15% year-over-year (YoY) decrease. Primary export markets, including Korea and Japan, have not exhibited signs of export recovery. Many factories try to keep prices stable despite the upward trend in raw material prices to sustain customer retention.
