French Asparagus Season Is Expected to Commence in W11

According to producers in the South East of France, the French asparagus season is expected to commence in W11. There are already small volumes of asparagus available in some wholesale markets and retails at high prices from areas that have just started, including the South West of France, and the South of France. Asparagus prices are now at their peak ranging from USD 12.50-19.00/kg, but are expected to drop a week before Easter.
