Turkey: WK 30 Sesame Price Update

Imported Chad white unhulled sesame prices in Mersin port hover around USD 1,550 -USD 1,600/ton. The price is for the already nationalized sesame seeds. The import costs are estimated to be around USD 50 to USD 60/ton, and the CIF Mersin indicative price ranges between USD 1,500-USD 1,550/ton in WK30. The traders have stopped purchases for the time being and are trying to sell their stocks before the harvest products arrive in the upcoming months.
