Thunderstorm and tornado hit west coast of Peloponnese in Greece, at the end of week 47. Many damages were reported in public infrastructure with flooded roads and landslides. Producers reported local tornado and high-velocity winds which caused collapsing of greenhouses. Lots of damages also in the olive orchard were reported while the harvesting has been halted, in areas affected by floods. The bad weather will continue for another 5 days, and producers are afraid that lots of the yield will be lost by drops of fruit or delayed harvesting.
