A shortage of oranges is set to occur in South Korea, with Australia -- the second largest provider of oranges to South Korea -- reporting their harvest to be lower than forecasted volumes. On an operational level, with only a few phytosanitary certificates issued from South Korea to Australian orange suppliers, no other Australian suppliers could export (nor could South Korean companies import) oranges.
