In a local fish market in Palu, Central Sulawesi, there is limited availability of sea-caught fish. Extreme weather continues to occur inside the Indonesian Ocean, particularly in the Eastern region. Since fishermen are not able to sail out to sea, the local fish market has hardly any sea-caught fish in stock. As a result, some local fish suppliers are getting aquacultured fishes like milkfish (species: chanos sp) and tilapia (species: oreochromis niloticus) to substitute for the shortage of sea-caught fish.
