In W30, Norway's fresh salmon exports, particularly in the 3 to 6kg Superior Salmon category, saw a significant increase of 21% week-on-week (WoW), amounting to 3,809 metric tons (mt). This rise in supply led to a slight price decrease of USD 0.033 per kilogram (kg), bringing the price to USD 7.21/kg. Prices are relatively low but typical for this time of year and are forecasted to remain low until early Sep-24. This period is an excellent time to stock up on cheaper inventory in anticipation of higher prices in the future.
