Sinaloa Begins Roma Tomatoes Exports to the US in W49

The main Mexican export region of Roma tomatoes, Sinaloa, is starting to send the first volumes of the harvest season (December 2022 to May 2023) to Nogales and McAllen markets in the US. The market is characterised by decreasing prices in W49, with constant demand. Some distributors are beginning to struggle to find good quality products due to the season transitioning. FOB McAllen prices for the 25lbs box sizes JB/JL quoted from USD 22-24 and L/M from USD 20-18. A stable price trend is is forecasted for the upcoming week.
