Since the beginning of the year, the volume of fish products supplied for export has increased significantly in the Khabarovsk Territory.

Specialists of the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Khabarovsk Territory, the Jewish Autonomous and Magadan regions for the 1st quarter of 2022 controlled and exported more than 310mt of fish products.
For the same period in 2021, 84mt of fish products were exported, thus, there is a significant increase in the volume of exports produced by the enterprises of the fishing complex of the Khabarovsk Territory.
Traditionally, at the beginning of the year, frozen smelt is in the greatest demand among foreign consumers. In March 2022, fish caught in the Nikolaevsky district of the Khabarovsk Territory went for export. The main recipient countries of Far Eastern fish products are Japan and the People's Republic of China.
All shipped cargo passed the necessary procedures for confirming compliance with the requirements of importing countries in terms of safety indicators, including veterinary and sanitary examination and laboratory tests conducted by the Khabarovsk Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor.
Vehicles with the production of aquatic biological resources also underwent disinfection treatment with subsequent laboratory control of the presence of DNA of the causative agent of a new coronavirus infection. For export lots of fish, 13 export veterinary certificates and four health certificates have been issued. During the veterinary control of these products, no violations were detected.
