Coronavirus lockdown affecting banana chips producers

Some suppliers of banana chips in Davao City are currently having problems with continuation of production due to lockdown regulations implemented by the government. There is retrenchment of employees, as well as closure of businesses, thus production has gone down to 35% since July 2020. They are seeking to have lockdown lifted to be able to supply and export, but still awaiting government response. End of lockdown is expected to be announced before December this year.
