South African sugar association makes an effort to revitalize the industry

The South African sugar association has launched a 10 point Master Plan to focus on rejuvenating critical sectors in the sugar value chain. Currently, the sugar industry is suffering a revenue loss of USD 81M annually-which is equal to 250k MT amount of sugar- as production numbers decline.
