South African cherries harvest season has delayed to week 47 due to climate change

Cherry picking season is significantly delayed this year due to climate change. Traditionally picking starts week 43, however this year, the fruit is expected to be ripen in week 47, and the crop will be much smaller. Domestic prices are very high, and it seems unlikely South Africa will export cherries this year.
